Every vintage of Klender Cabernet Sauvignon is handcrafted to find the perfect balance between delicious fruit, elegant tannins and an abundant finish. This classic California Cabernet Sauvignon behaves much like a First Growth of Bordeaux’s Left Bank, blending slight amounts of our Estate Merlot and Estate Cabernet Franc for a distinct Big Cab blend. Our gravelly soils are mineral-rich and well drained, providing the complexity reminiscent of this special French region.

Aging & Process

Our winery is a small family owned, where select production is limited, with attention on quality, not quantity. Our wine is carefully aged for at least twenty two months in traditional French oak barrels (new & neutral), where it is racked four to five times. No fining or filtration is used in the production of the wine with focus on flavor and balance. The color of the Cabernet is a deep garnet with an alluring nose of berries, rose and cassis. Proper cellaring of our wines should provide up to another 15 – 20 years of aging.
