Our small Cabernet vineyard covers a couple acres on an east-west Paso Robles hillside so it is well-drained and well-exposed to sunshine each day. Our soil is derived from cattle land consisting of gravel, mixed with sand, clay, and loamy subsoils. Little or no chemical fertilizers are used. From time to time, we tenderly add organic fertilizers that will allow our vines to stay healthy and reach an advanced age.
